"Oh Gods, so it's true. The security in the Louvre was *pathetic*."

Renault looked shocked and confused before reaching into a cabinet and pulling out a small bottle of honey.

"Hang on, I know this probably ain't your thing, but lemme whip up some hot tea with honey to help with the throat."

"Uh...Jet? You ok?"

Once again, the silence was deafening.

"Uh..."

Renault would be walking past, munching on a bag of chips when he notices the crowd gathered in the backstreet. He looks over at the crowd, sees a familiar set of green feathers at where the crowd was looking, and keeps walking, munching away on his chips.

"HEYHEYHEYHEYHEY HEY!"

Renault practically dives for the garage radio and changes the station in front of a bemused employee.

"I'm all for Christmas, but I told you not to start playing Christmas music until at least after the United Federation's had its Thanksgiving!"

"Oh, right, forgot I was supposed to change into my Halloween costume."

"...Meh."

Renault suddenly chokes on his drink, coughing and quickly putting a welding mask over his face to hide his luminescent blush.

Once again, his crush on and fear of Wave collide.

Renault thought about reminding Jet that he had been talking about Bean's rear end not even a week or so ago, but decides against it.

Someone had already reminded him of that anyway.

The Phantom cursed as Jet mentioned backup arriving. As much as he thought he could probably extract himself within the timeframe, he decided to play it safe.

"Affirmative, better safe than in a cell on Prison Island," he replied as he changed course for the roof.

As the Phantom began to make his way out, he radioed in to Jet. "Oops, seems I must've overdone it on the electricity, Boss~" --

Meanwhile, deeper within the GUN Base, while the soldiers were distracted with trying to take out Jet, the Phantom Rogue of Babylon would be doing his thing.

The mission tonight was to swipe anti-air weapon plans that, if allowed to come to fruition, could put the zeppelin in danger. --

"A 'something I've been eagerly anticipating is about to come to pass' feeling."

"Though again, I could just be psyching myself up for nothing. I'mma see how today turns out."
