I keep wrestling with what label is appropriate to describe myself and sometimes I have the presence of mind to be like "I don't need a label. I'm me."

This is not easy to communicate to others, but I feel like it's their job to figure it out, not mine. If I like them, I might help them understand.

I have learned what is only a drop in the bucket about natural history and paleontology, but what I already know is enough to make me feel like humans are merely guests upon this planet. It's a strange feeling.
