been playing octopath 0 recently and WOW what a game

I initially wasnt sure what to think of the gameplay changes from the first two games, but after a little bit the story got me HOOKED

I kept wanting to add more stuff until it got to the point where I burnt myself out

sadly, scope creep got the better of me, and I never finished the game

I dont even have the project files anymore since theyre all on my old laptop (which I dont have access to anymore)

all I have of the game now is the design document and a screenshot that I attached to it 🤷‍♂️

I also planned to have megaman-style bosses in the form of enemy wizards, where defeating one would give you a new spell that, in turn, gave you more movement options

during the pandemic, I started work on "I cast fireball", a 2d platformer where you played as a wizard who used fireballs to not only attack enemies but rocket jump around levels (🧵)
