adam is the only child of their generation who is literate, though he isn't allowed to be; he sneaks study in secret with the aid of a supernatural guide.
danielle sits as lookout for him - her repayment is to hear whatever he reads, so she can be in-the-know

danielle's conjuration skills lean toward slim stakes and swords, so she's apt to fencing-like combat
adam doesn't conjure anything but the bog-standard knives; he CAN do more, but his skills have been redirected elsewhere

danielle is very outspoken and competitive; she has a lot to prove given her older brother's pedigree
adam is very quiet, often never speaking in a day, and prefers to observe rather than engage
while danielle is slated to become a hunter, adam is a tracker

they're currently in npc mode while their daughters are adventuring...but luyssious' adventure is being an emo empty nester dad and emily's is running a whole leg of the afterlife

luyssious spent a lot of the campaign pretty emo and self-hating while emily tried to convince him to forgive himself, but they were able to reconcile their hangups and learn to love each other as equals, renewing vows on their own terms

emily brokered a deal with a dragon of death to remain bound to him after death, imbuing his sword kinda soul eater style
luyssious threw a tantrum at another dragon and convinced them to give emily a new flesh-and-blood body (complaining works folks)

these are tess & delia's parents
they were wed in an arranged marriage as teens, but the real understanding and affection came after years of strife together, what with emily dying and luyssious drowning in guilt abt it

tess holds herself to rather impossible standards, so she doesn't take compliments or praise as genuinely as she ought to; all the grace she gives others she tends to withhold from herself u_u
but she does her best to keep it bottled up so as to not inconvenience anyone

she's a part-time librarian aide and loves reading, her special interests being romantic dark fiction and poetry. like cecelia, she used to write a lot of cringe fic back in her youth.
she STILL writes cringe poetry but that is definitely a secret

she's a twin, her other being much more outgoing and abrasive, while she herself is very anxious and eager to keep the peace. even so, she has an undercurrent of a petty streak that she has to keep in check (though her familiar tends to vocalize it for her oops)
