I went to Polish Lidl yesterday and there were Lebkuchen everywhere! Other stores seem to be uncertain what to do this year. Some have autumn stuff, some Halloween and others started putting out Christmas decorations. There are also several chains that decided to dump everything at once.

I have two jobs and I feel burned out at both of them. Somehow I decided that a Spanish language course will heal me.

I get it. At some point all my friends were trying crocheting so I wanted to learn it as well. I was absolutely miserable, I was horrribly bad at it and I actually hated learning it. So I just stopped and supported my friends and their wonderful work.

I really wish people would understand that their feelings aren't always universal. Making art is thankfully not mandatory so if they find learning art to be so deeply unpleasant they can just not do that, find a different hobby and stop ruining things for people who actually enjoy it.

They’re not real, they’re not serious. If they were they would focus on proving their theory with animals that exist now.

The best thing about Fantastic 4 was the retrofuturism. The actors were wonderful in their roles, better than I expected. The story was fine. The genius ideas to defeat the villain were truly stupid but kinda fit the overall theme. All in all, a good movie 👍🏻

It's apt that corporations/governments divided the internet into SFW and NSFW & are now making it all Safe For Work, because that is the defining frame they want to place on the world--everywhere you go is for Work, not pleasure or art or love or culture. You must always Work for Them, or die.
