It seems to me that the "15-minute cities" has become a talking point in the USA (rightfully) and the idea has been co-opted by media and politicians in Europe (especially ones of particular alignment). And it's such a nothingburger because most cities here are already like that.

Ja bym przede wszystkim wprowadziła zakaz wszelkich promocji na napoje alkoholowe. Bo jak widzę oferty typu "kup 12 puszek piwa, a drugie 12 dostaniesz gratis" to mnie skręca.

It's so funny how companies trying to justify their AI use either exaggerate it into this massive inconvenience and a huge hassle to work with - contradicting the argument that AI is supposed to make your job easier - or they act like it played a tiny, insignificant role, in which case, why bother

AI bones are inherently brittle, and anything built on them will rot.

Scroll on… WOW! That’s a remarkable trail cam photo of a Bobcat! It almost looks like a painting!… but the head looks oddly small…. hmmmm. After some prodding the original photo is produced and sure enough it had been so heavily altered by AI ‘post processing’ that the photo posted was essentially a digital mock-up with totally different proportions and fur markings. No longer the photo off the trail cam; it may as well have just been ‘created’ by AI from scratch. This stuff is killing me. My days on social media are becoming very limited. We can’t even trust simple, everyday photos of animals to be real. The wildlife community needs to quit editing with AI, and we need to start calling out photographers that are using it. Our reality is being destroyed all around us.

I'm not an engineer but I do work with many of them and they have lots of great ideas that could benefit all the people. What they need is money and funding from the rich but the rich are interested in ideas that would benefit only them.
We're running out of good people at the top, not ideas.

Obviously they don't want actual architects to use AI, they want to use it themselves so they don't have to PAY the architect. Do they not know that you can't just build stuff without permits? And I really don't think any self-respecting architect would sign one. And then there's construction, lol.
