I've started the rendering. It's going okay, sometimes I am loving how it looks, sometimes I hate it and want to scrap it. But the horrors persist and so shall I.

I know it's pretty cool how many there are. I picked the sketchbook one as I thought it would go nicely with the beginner one and I could fill my sketchbook with my practice and have fun with some purely sketchbook exercises. I'd recommend it.

Just finished part 1 of the beginner road map, now moving onto carving boxes ect. So still very early days. I'm also doing the sketchbook course at the moment in parallel.

Same here, definitely helps that the lessons are short but informative. Means I can find some time each day to do at least 1 lesson and some practice.

Yeah I'm going through the artwod course and it's definitely highlighting where I need more work.

Sketchbooking today, messing around with observational drawing and then invention drawing where I attempt to draw the same object from an imagined angle. A very humbling exercise.

Been absent because I've started attending my local atelier. Here is my first Bargue study. Getting the shading done was demanding, I've never had to keep a pencil so sharp, but the results are worth it.
