Just had a brilliant meeting with my Aspire Liverpool hat on. The woman I met with was from Vermont and it immediately reminded me of probably one of my favourite places in the world we visited in 2023.

A huge thank you to Cllr Barbara Murray for inviting me to help launch Liverpool’s Year of Spoken Word.
It was a fantastic event at Liverpool Central Library filled with literacy and culture organisations who do great work in our city
Was really pleased to support Cllr Simic in formulating and passing this motion on creative education last night.
The Coalition Government deprioritised the arts in the 2014 National Curriculum and introduction of the EBacc.
We must ensure all students can access creative industries!
Really excited about this cultural project that the council and Culture Liverpool has commissioned for our area.
At the end of the residency, there will be a festival in Dovecot and some permanent public art.
