Authored by @profatarrant.bsky.social,
@drlinziladlow.bsky.social& Dr Laura Way, the chapter explores how young fathers in the UK narrate their experiences and understanding of fathering, fatherhood and co-parenting in the context of recent cultural and generational shifts towards engaged fatherhood

Where fatherhood can be predictive of mental ill-health it can also be protective and enable (young) men to invest in an identity and sets of relationships that are grounded in love, care and compassion.

Today, and every day, we encourage attention to how we can co-create more father-inclusive services, policies and systems as a preventative measure, that ensures all parents feel safe to disclose about the challenges of parenthood, while also feeling safe and supported.

No-confidence vote in University of Lincoln bosses is passed - BBC News Academics at the University of Lincoln call for compulsory redundancies to be ruled out.

There is a false dichotomy drawn between "the ivory tower" and "the real world," and I'm here to report that in a post-industrial society, your real-world economy absolutely hinges on the university.

University towns are factory towns. Universities drive economic activity, not the other way around.

Starmerโ€™s immigration plans arenโ€™t just mean-spirited, theyโ€™re anti-growth Making it harder for people to come to this country to work and study may bring down immigration numbers โ€“ but it will also be economically counterproductive, says Jonathan Portes
