Personal interest ultimately outweighs ethics for most of them. Poor human beings. Alternatives really are android OS devices for phone and tablet (Samsung are probably the best in both) and Windows computers/laptops. Dell and Lenovo are both very decent. Learning/adjustment curve, of course.
