I can say with some confidence that I have never, in any ttrpg, enjoyed water based fights or mechanics. I get that fighting underwater would be bad IRL that doesn't mean you need to make it practically the worst possible thing you could ever do in the game to.

Unrelated to that rant though I will say one of the early boss fights was absolutely miserable and I just really wish underwater combat wasn't terrible. There's been a lot of really close fights but that fight was as bad as it was not due to difficulty but because underwater mechanics are just...
