An arrestee in Parliament Square recites Martin Niemöller’s “First They Came”, moments before the Met Police carried him away for an alleged terrorism offence, along with 521 others.

They’re coming for you next. Whatever cause you stand for.

I don’t think Starmer is incompetent. I think he is at the head of a gang of childish student politicians filled with factional spite who deliberately won’t do the right thing in case it resembles their cult Satan Corbyn.

Think about the UK’s reputation abroad. Lack of safe routes for refugees, migrants unwelcome, calamity of Brexit, inaction in Palestine (bearing in mind Balfour Declaration) and pensioners being arrested. It’s so sad and the legacy of empire doesn’t help. (Criticism is highest form of patriotism)

The BBC presenter asks, how is Al Jazeera able to operate in Gaza when the BBC can't get in.

There was (and is) nothing stopping BBC News from directly employing Palestinian journalists in Gaza so they can report from the strip as BBC correspondents, just like Al Jazeera does.

Inequality has reached a peak

✌🏽Abolish GOP for violating constitution

✌🏽Cancel el. college so we have real democracy

✌🏽Make health insurance parasites illegal

✌🏽Put tech companies in public hands so we see their algorithms

✌🏽Tax the rich until they ain’t rich enough to mess in our politics.

How can the Met police boast of arresting 466 people protesting genocide & ignore a political leader making a Nazi salute at basically a hate demo . Are peace protesters now considered more dangerous in Starmer’s 🇬🇧 than Nazi sympathisers ?

I'm wondering if the police are deliberately targeting the obvious elderly, infirm and disabled, in order to promote public outrage at such a stupid fucking law which they now have to carry out? I would love to be a fly on the wall at their briefings.

Some of Labour's biggest howlers could have been avoided if they stopped listening to the bright young things in Labour HQ and consulted the wider membership.
The Palestine Action debacle is an example.

Forget Corbyn - it's a protest party. He is a far left anti-semite extremist who hi-jacked the Labour Party and was happy to turn a blind eye to momentum intimidating and threatening party members who did not tow the line - well meaning dangerous fool.

It's funny how Momentum are simultaneously this vapid, inept collective of posh students and the most violent and intimidating political force in Labour depending on the argument being made.

Govt minister Alex Davies-Jones thanks the police for their bravery & courage on Saturday.

The average age of the hundreds of peaceful protesters arrested on Saturday was 54 & over 110 of them were over the age of 70.

Brexit was an attempted counter-revolution against many of the changes this country has gone through since 1945. It has turned out to be a failure with elements of farce. This has driven many people on the Right completely mad.

Angela Rayner gives Labour a 12-month mission to save itself Internal party research finds its achievements are failing to cut through with voters, while people in all demographics are being tempted to switch to Reform

Nope, I'm stumped, Angela. i can't think of one reason why your party's achievements have been overlooked and Labour voters are suddenly more interested in such Reform issues as immigration and bathrooms.
