This is so true. Can see it play out in real time in family and friends. A very real impact of social media feeding us constant clips of awful things

Interesting I may be going against grian but I'm not all for more integration. I think it has potential to water down mental health nursing. I did one year both 2 years specifically mental health. I still think mental health nursing should be its own specific field (obvs I'm very biased 🤣)

Do you know why this is? Is it that people tend to work in MH first (as HCAs) OR perhaps the removal of bursary meant a lot of students go via apprenticeships. Not sure what it means for the future

Just my local one. Agree about the MH nursing being diluted. Still think it's very sad that mental health nursing may not even be a thing soon

Was at local University and was struck by stat that 80% of this doing mental health nursing are over 31. Does anyone know why young people don't want to become nurses? Specifically MH Nurses?

People Are Being Involuntarily Committed, Jailed After Spiraling Into "ChatGPT Psychosis" People experiencing "ChatGPT psychosis" are being involuntarily committed to mental hospitals and jailed following AI mental health crises.

Can see this becoming a bigger problem in the future. There are so many AI chat services available and not all are being regulated. Is AI able to recognise if a person using the service is experiencing psychosis. Could have very serious implications
