Avowed review: Obsidian nails the combat, but not the story Combat is fun and interesting in Avowed -- but surprisingly for an Obsidian game, the story and characters are not.

Avowed's combat is the best of its kind and keeps me coming back for more, which is good because the world and its characters have nothing interesting going on.
