📚It has been a reading morning for me, spent at the wonderful Toshie’s cafe in Maryhill. It is part of The Courtyard Pantry Enterprise, which aims to reduce the harmful effects of poverty, using food as a vehicle for change.

A fantastic day at presenting with Hunter, one of our Experts by Experience, at the Healthy Working Lives Patient & Public Engagement Conference. We discussed the process of co-producing research with care experienced young people as part of our Places, Spaces & Relationships project ✌🏻

I am delighted to have had a poem accepted to the Journal of Adolescent Health.

The poem, was written for the Archiving Residential Children’s Homes project @stir.ac.uk.

I’ve been back in Glasgow 10 year and up until now the strangest thing I’ve seen in this city was a man trying to hoover a puddle, but today I witnessed a woman trying to eat fajitas like pizza 🤯

Social and public health sciences unit @uofglasgow.bsky.social is at risk of closure. There is critical research related to the health of our communities that will cease and fantastic staff involved in this research that will be made redundant. I have signed the petition challenging this decision 👊🏻
