Collision Course Racing is close to releasing! We just need to do a few more things before we're ready to put it on Itch, but I can guarantee that we'll put up a page for it by next Saturday.

Update: We're posting it on itch! No page is up yet (due to the game not being finished yet), but we're hard at work finishing the game so we can make something we're at least somewhat happy with

I haven't been posting much lately, but I promise I've been working on CCR! Currently no planned release date, but we're hoping to get at least something polished finished by this friday.

I'd be down

It's crazy how a feeling can make my autistic brain so happy, and I really want other people to experience it as well if they're interested. Go try it out, or listen to the music, or whatever! I just wanted to gush over Rain World :> (6/6)

But that doesn't stop me from coming back to it from time to time. I even met some really, really cool friends via the community (we don't do much anymore, but that's mainly due to not being available at the right times) (5/?)

It's not a bad feeling either, it's just really, really powerful for some people, and the game really is an underrated gem. The gameplay isn't what I generally like, which is why I still have less than 100 hours into it despite having it for over 2 years now (4/?)

I just regained that feeling I got when I first played the game while listening to their remixes, and I just can't keep it to myself lol. If you like a feeling of loneliness and nostalgia at the same time, Rain World might be for you (3/?)

I love Rain World so much from pretty much only the feeling that the game invokes onto the player through the music, the environment, the story, how they're just thrown into the game, the list goes on (2/?)

BTW, I apologize for not updating nearly as often as I'd like to, ADHD has really got me doing things other than posting updates every now and then. Anywho, We'll hopfully request a steam store page sometime soon, so that we can have it up by the next fest next month!

The pre-alpha demo was a little rough, with no time to make a pause menu, a way to get back to the main menu after finishing the only race, or a way to quit the game other than alt+F4. But we did it, and we even got a single playtester from the event! We blame our positioning in the room lol

I'm currently working on a game with two other people, called Collision Course Racing. Expect development updates from time to time!

this demo will only be available for people in-person at an event I don't think I can say. However, around that time, we will be requesting a Steam store page, so stay tuned for that!!

Anywho, Collision Course Racing is a top-down arcade F1-style racing game, where you can cheat and take shortcuts. Try not get caught by the referees while doing so however, 'lest you get caught and recieve a penalty!

Apologies for the lack of progress updates the past few days, I've been busy with other stuff and didn't have the most motivation to work on projects. However, I do have some things I'm gonna share in a bit if I remember.

being sick for a bit and not being able to take essential medicine for mental wellbeing really sucks doesnt it

if there's any room left, I mainly use Godot with some Unity (but not too often). if that doesn't count, that's totally fine with me!

semi-daily #gamedev report #6: I'm now a part of a team of people participating in the Boss Rush Jam for 2025, and someone from there is even helping with the dungeon crawler prototype! My stomach doesn't feel good though, but hopefully it'll be better by the time the jam starts 🫠

IIRC Red Dead Redemption 2's buildings were all made with modular pieces, which is a good example of how useful it can be
