This is an abstract landscape created with pieces of fabric sewed together. It features variations of blue contrasted with areas of bright yellow along with three stripes of green in the foreground. The shapes are varied with irregular angles.

I was working on this piece that has been hibernating. A friend observed that it looked like the flag of Ukraine. I added the field of wheat and sunflowers. Thinking of all the Ukrainians both in the country and the diaspora.

A quilted wall hanging that distracted me from the dire news in the US. Spring is coming. Justice will prevail.

I accumulate all my scraps in old pillowcases and label it TEXTILE SCRAPS and bring it to Goodwill where I hope it gets recycled.
