Additionally staff ensured that all states could release funding for the Education and Training Voucher program direct support of up to $5,000 per student in foster care to attend college.

staff worked on ensuring children in foster care could receive Title IV-E foster care and adoption assistance and guardianship assistance payments that directly benefit children and their families.

These child welfare Program Specialists were responsible for reviewing and supporting states to ensure that their programs are in alignment with federal laws for receiving federal funding for children and foster families, and adoptive families.

For those that think federal workers are slackers with cush jobs look at this list of work and states managed by 30 people

HHS and Administration for Children and Families has fired 30 colleagues who worked on the Boston, New York, Chicago, and Seattle offices.

You may not know of these programs, know your tax $’s where going to support children and families that have experienced trauma, or simply wanted a forever family or wanted assitance with a collage degree or more important services to try and become a better, stronger parent to keep their children.
