As a school team, we start with the ASALH annual theme and then build a shared guide of favorite lesson plans and resources. This guide then supports our continued teaching and learning throughout the year. #EduSky #T2Tchat

I met students like Isaac who is addressing water scarcity; Tomas who is furthering mental health work in his school; Mirela and Israel who are increasing access to sustainable waste management solutions; and Bárbara and André who are working on a tool to track shifting whale migration patterns.

This Thankful Thursday goes to the power of student research and leadership. Last month, I had the opportunity to learn with nearly 60 high school student researchers at our inaugural Mizzou Academy action research showcase in São Paulo, SP.
