For me, yes you are.
ABA is, at its core, conversion therapy for autistic people.
It's where we're taught we're not good enough and will never be accepted as we are. We need to adapt and change, so allistic people won't feel so weird around us.
There are much better forms of support.

As someone who's experienced ABA, I'm emotionally invested and can come off as hostile.

Rhonda, if you want to support your child, try to find an autistic community in your area. Autistic people know how to guide autistic people 🙂
