I just finished the Bobiverse series by Dennis E Taylor, really enjoyed it, feels in a similar vein to DCC. His other series are pretty good too. I also recommend Ann Leckie’s Imperial Radch series, Ancillary Justice to start that.

I have a sleepbar speaker and listen to them for going to sleep. Just skip back to the previous chapter the next night to keep continuity. Sometimes gets disjointed or repeated but I get through the book. But otherwise it’s only in the car/train to work.

Git as a file system. You have to pull from a remote (the disk) into local (active memory) to manipulate then push back to store long term. Allows for branched file systems, full file history through commits, and then someone will accidentally overwrite main and rebases it.

But how do I remove formatting from text now? That was one of my primary uses of Notepad! 😆 (also yay markdown support!)
