I have seen firsthand what happens when the government sends children and families to camps — detention centers, “facilities,” whatever name they choose to soften the blow. I know what that kind of incarceration does to a child’s spirit, to a family’s sense of safety and belonging.

KMBC: "A woman tried to set a fire at a South Kansas City warehouse that had been rumored as a possible ICE detention center. Earlier today, the company that owns the property confirmed it is no longer moving forward with a sale to the U.S. government."

They are still in Minneapolis and coming out guns drawn and have no training.

They kidnapped someone just yesterday morning in Northeast. They were here legally and have kids.

Good news is community still strong. Everyone is taken care of.
