Lets keep debate about trans women not being male for Twitter. There is a policy for trans people in that sport. And of course everyone can revoke their consent. But using a plain clear transphobic argument for that while US is putting transphobic agendas in use is just low and opportunistic.

First of all, trans woman is NOT a man. Second of all saying that she is disadvantaged to men while willingly fighting them as an argument not to compete against a person who was more than year on testosteron suppressant is just crap and I see it as way to gain some points with conservatives

Stephanie Turner, female fencer refusing to compete with trans opponent claiming they are male is just a big hypocrite. Saying ".. I have an athletic disadvantage to man" while she fough two man before the tournamen and won (!) is nothing but a manifestation of transphobia.

Imposter syndrom much? Still I tend to think that Im not good enought even if I officiated almost three times more games than needed for the first level certification. Looking at my Game History helps a lot with that.

🏳️‍⚧️ Yesterday was the Trans Day of Visibility and all my favourite roller derby leagues showed the support. That is one of the things I really love about this sport. While I was discussing 158 types of restroom for every gender at my workplace (yup 😬), seeing this is like a blessing.

Too old? Thats what I thought as well. Living legend Merby Dick started roller derby in age of 70 (hence his number) and in 2009 co-founded Concussion Roller Derby, Oregon. From what I found, he was still playing before covid menaning he was about 80 years young

🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️ Fast paced, full contact, inclusive and queer by default

Check for local leagues, you will probably fall in love in a way you never thought you would - or that was at least my case 😄
