These are too great. I love artifacts of the 3 color printing process. Too many great works get hit with the Descreen filter.

Very much working from the Wil Rees concepts, and John Sibbick's Rogue Trader cover art, I should add.
I should also add I would love to see a proper full reproduction of Sibbick's painting, rather than the cropped versions commonly available. I wonder whose estate that lives in.

The two pieces used for Skirmish on Rynn's World; The Battle at Jadeberry Hill, the follow up scenario to Rogue Trader's Battle at the Farm remain my favorites of his.

Tony Hough might be one of the least remembered Rogue Trader artists, working for the GW studio (presumably freelance) for only few years. His work for Rogue Trader, The Book of the Astronomican, and for Richard Halliwell's unreleased first draft of Battlefield Gothic were certainly all bangers.

There is just something about the early 80's and B/W art.

This one has a cool story to go with it (from David Gallagher's insta) After he submitted it, it was requested that the Cultists needed Genestealer facial tattoos/paints. Rather than paint over the original he made an acetate overlay with the face paints. Original:
