My gut feeling is this is being done to kill anonymity and make tracking people easier. The platform doesn't have any direct identifier but the verification services do, and we just have to take their word that they're deleting any logged reference back ...

I don't trust these companies to actually hold up to their promises of deleting data after use. How often has this come out to be a lie?
Unfortunately a lot of services there is no choice but comply. The account was made in the UK and often that's enough to get it marked.

So it looks like the UK "protection" law is here to stay.
To clarify, it's not just pornographic content. It includes anything mature, graphic or violent too.

Yeah the c gear taking up the whole bottom screen instead of useful tools or menus was weird. Having a few old mons earlier on for familiarity would have been nice too. A bit grindy but wins feel well earned and the story is pretty good. PMD is still the best story to me though

Yeaaa a lot of specialist software just outright doesn't work or is a pain to set up.

Depending on your headset it's pretty close now. Quest pro works great, face tracking and all.
