This first chapter feels right now. The change of character and change of multiple people third limited to third limited on just one character has done a treat for how this will progress.

Let’s do a third rewrite of the first 5 chapters again. Why not? Didn’t like the flow of the story based on the character we were following, so we scrap him as a temp protagonist, throw someone fresh into the mix, and just watch let it play out

Anyone have alternatives for Microsoft’s Visio? I need to make network diagrams + I am attempting to make a space ship technical diagram for my book.

Scrapped everything and restarted. 2 chapters done, I now have an app that lets me store all my research, character sketch, world building shite into one place and let’s me easily use it whenever I need to all while writing at the same time. Took me a couple hours to learn the app but worth for me.

Gideon as the necromancer, the amount of bone puns we would have to suffer. It’d be amazing.

How should you read this? Perfect rivals, fucking each other? Just simply perfect rivals? Who knows, you’d have to read the book to know that and I haven’t finished it yet.

The only thing in these chapters that I am 100% confident about, is that two of the characters are absolutely perfect. No notes. I will put every fiber of my being into making sure Dahlia and Persephone Kosa are the perfect fucking rivals for each other.

I am four chapters into the book I am writing, two chapters having been re-written and waiting edits, two requiring a second pass as they are currently in rough draft. I’m waiting for my editor (read: partner) to read the damn things already so I know if their shit.

I have fully fallen in love with the Locked Tomb series. I adore the worldbuilding, the lore, the fucking characters who go through so much and I just want them to be alright damnit. Probably one of my new favorite series of books.

The Locked Tomb book series is quickly becoming one of my favorite series I’ve read. I just wanna know the space lesbian necromancer is alright, and that her also lesbian cavalier Gideon is okay.
