Paragraphic – Parametric graphic design

The DNS issues affecting our hosting company seem to have been resolved now and paragraphic.design is accessible again, sorry for the inconvenience.

Paragraphic – Parametric graphic design

The DNS servers of the hosting company used for paragraphic.design are currently down, apparently due to a large scale DDOS hacking attack. This has made the site unreachable the last couple of hours. The hosting company is working on it and the situation should hopefully be resolved eventually.

Just released a little maintenance update of my old password app DotPass (iOS and macOS). Generating retrievable good passwords with graphical patterns and plain text seed words.

Well, in a sense you could see Paragraphic as what the ideas in Patternodes have evolved into. Paragraphic uses a very similar system for design and pattern generation, but presented in a different way. I think the main use case will be as a companion tool for complex/parametric vector designs.

Then I also want to put in some more apparent usecases like making custom vector halftones, gradients, data visualizations or maybe animations. So I can have some more specific things to motive designers to try something new (and hopefully then see what else they can do with the apps).

I think what you're describing is pretty much what I want to do with my apps: Getting designers new ways to think about patterns and design by introducing parametric/procedural features in a more accessible package. So that's pretty much the long term goal.

Applying the new pivot-relative transforms based on the distance to the pivot point in groups allow you to make some pretty cool explode/twist style effects to groups in #paragraphic.

No, I'm sorry, there's no automatic way to "complete" your bundle in this way. A couple of times I've made specific offers to existing users of the apps to get the others at a reduced price, but I don't want to spam people with e-mail offers too often. But maybe I should give that a try again.

The new #paragraphic 1.2.3 update also adds a more convenient way of inserting input nodes after an existing input node, so you no longer have to remove and re-add the existing input node.
