Other distros on my shortlist are Arch (which apparently just had a security breech of some sort), Ubuntu (cuz easy and I've run it before), Slack (because weird and I've run it before), and NixOS (because weird).

Ugh. I still havent' decided on a distro. I've been leaning toward Bazzite because I game a lot and I also expect them to put the most work into getting my media drivers running, but... but I can get my drivers working.

I ran Slackware on my desktop for a few years. Straightforward isn't necessarily my main concern. 😅
