I strongly support your choices… as long as you don’t say that My Favorite Things is a Christmas song!

Reporters who fact-check Trump to his face are not β€œstupid”, they are not β€œpiggies”, and they are not β€œugly”. They are doing their jobs, and doing it under pressure most of us will never experience.

We should be grateful for their service. I appreciate their courage now more than ever.

This is the first Thanksgiving for Sophie & Colin Hortman without their parents, Minnesota state Rep. Melissa Hortman and Mark Hortman who were assassinated along with the family dog in an act of political murder. National guards troops were not deployed to the state in response.

Colton Moore is the state senator for Greene’s district. My guess is he’s probably going to run for her seat. From his wedding …

I don't know why the "Piggy" thing is bothering me so much. It's one more unforgivable thing in a list of 20,000 unforgivable things, but I've been mad about it for like 12 straight hours.

Marjorie Taylor Greene was hired, trained, and paid by tech oligarchs & others from the very beginning to be a political troublemaker. With Trump’s downfall looming, Greene is now being strategically groomed to be JD Vance’s vice president.

Mark my words.

Hey Megyn Kelly,

14-year-old Eloise would like a word:

β€œIf my voice makes you uncomfortable, good…
because the minute adults start defending predators by defending the age of a child, you’re not protecting the truth, you’re protecting the predator.”

Sound up! πŸ”₯πŸ”Š

A tweet from J.J. Abbott (@jjabbott) says:
β€œNarrator: He did not fight.”
It quotes a 2022 tweet from John Fetterman (@JohnFetterman) that reads:
β€œHealth care is a basic, fundamental human right. I will fight for health care like the health care that saved my life. #PASenateDebate.”

In terms of big disappointments, he gets honorable Manchin.

Schumer put the nail in his own coffin and the Democratic Leadership. It's done. Just a matter of time. Ditto Centrists.

They have misread the moment and the rage of the people.

Trump and MAGA will continue playing them because they know they are weak.

Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

Any β€œdeal” that ends with Dems just getting a pinky promise in return is a mistake.

The American people are suffering because Republicans refuse to stop healthcare costs from skyrocketing. An agreement that doesn’t fix that reality falls massively short.

It ain't over til it's over, so please do call if you've got a Dem senator.”

🚨 We’re hearing that Senate Democrats are on the verge of caving to Trump in another β€œSchumer Surrender.”

That means your Democratic senators need to hear from you right now.

A word of caution about the new Axios report that Dem Senators are caving. Remember the NYT ran articles for months claiming that Harvard was caving, which.. never happened. Turns out their anonymous sources were Trump staffers. Axios may be similar.

But, it never hurts to call your Senator.

Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.

Character isn't something you tell people about.

It's something you live.

We're all going to write pieces about what you can learn from tonight but it's actually pretty simple: The frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I think a thing we'll learn tonight is that people fucking hate what is going on and they will straight ticket vote against anyone involved in starving people while pillaging the country and kidnapping their neighbors. I don't think it matters at all who that person is.

Walmart, McDonalds and Amazon are the largest employers of people who require SNAP assistance.

The CEOs earned between 18-40 million last year, 1000x their median employee income.

They took billions in profits, while their workers relied on SNAP to survive.

Wanna fix fraud and abuse?

Fix that.

FWIW, social democracies like Norway, Sweden etc have big businesses. They have billionaires.

They also have universal healthcare, quality free education & child care, and programs to curb poverty and food insecurity.

How?

Their billionaires pay taxes and don’t control the government.
