Beloved Community was the theme of the MLK celebration today. I love the awards given, the volunteer opportunities presented, and the noon wrap-up - leaving time for me to have lunch with a friend and then finish replacing the CD player (!) in my car - with an assist on a tool from my neighbor.

Prominent folks:
Millions stay on Twitter because that's where they hear from you. That includes reporters.
YOU are giving Twitter viability and credibility.
If YOU leave, the people who want to hear from you will go where you are.
YOU are making the choice to keep others on Twitter.

I support the Guides and their historically accurate context given on the tours. Didn't "Hamilton" and the Monticello tour updates show us that TJ wasn't perfect?

This "star cam" from Golazo makes the match unwatchable - I can ONLY see Trinity Rodman and a few yards around her, even when the ball is down field.

Tried out two new-to-me "eggnog-style" drinks - one based on almond milk, one on oat milk. Both get a thumbs up, solo or added to coffee!

Hey Americans, feeling politically powerless? You have an election tomorrow. Fascists are targeting those boring state and local positions and using them for everything from abortion restrictions to book bans to criminalizing trans healthcare. It's up to you to stop them.

Why we vote
Because you want your candidate to win. Because you want the other candidate to lose. Because you can express your distaste for everybody on the ballot by writing in somebody else. Even yourself. Beca...
Election Day is tomorrow, and here in Virginia it's not just the local races that help shape your neighborhood, police, schools and more--every seat in the General Assembly is on the ballot. If you need more of a pep talk, please read this short essay I wrote in 2012. robpegoraro.com/2012/11/05/w...
