1. in splitscreen, dot, an anthropomorphic dog, sits in just her panties taking notes on a book at her desk, the camera at a high angle with books stacked on top of her bookshelf in frame, and maxc, an anthropomorphic hyena sits out on the couch idly playing with a string paddleball. 2. dot puts her paw to her chin and thinks "hmm... this reminds me of her other book i've read... i kind of want to compare. 3. she begins to stand, thinking "now where was...?" 4. the panel is cropped in close to her face and cuts into the bottom right of panel 3. she looks dejected, and thinks, "oh." 5. "yeah," she thinks, looking up at one of the books stacked all the way up on top of her bookshelf.
