No, it truly does not. First off, there's no independent peer review or vetting of his data or conclusions. Secondly, he is speaking only about the Catholic Church, not all of christianity. That in and of itself is cherry-picking data.

The first one is fairly easy to understand. That shows a correlation, not causation. There is no proof that atheism leads to or equates to fascism.

I'm wondering, with more than a little amusement, what truth can't be tested without comparison.

The history of abuse in the catholic church has been well-documented, as well as the church moving offenders around to hide the truth.

But no, I'm not only talking about catholic priests, but also pastors, elders, and other officials, from all Christian denominations.

It's isn't a caricature when it's plain fact. And most stereotypes are painfully root in truth.

That's a whataboutism. It's not about comparison. It's the simple FACT that Christianity has caused massive amounts of violence, suffering and misery throughout history.

Oh, not to mention all the sexual abuse of children.

Your party is who refuses to do their job and shut it down.
