The Kestrel that I mentioned yesterday spent all night roosting on the window above our front door. It flew off this morning but was struggling. It spent an hour sitting on our 4WD posing. I am pleased to say it soared off to rejoin the three other Kestrels.

Little Raven flying home to roost at sunset the other evening.
I was sitting on a log trying to capture some Welcome Swallows flying over the dam but it got too dark so I pointed my camera to the only patch of light left.

Can’t image that they are the fastest bird to take off and get out of the way ?

The local Kangaroo family are happy to pose for me as they hopefully realise that is I that is putting out Roo Food for them. They have been struggling a bit just lately what with the drought and lack of food. In fact some Farmers have been culling them. I find that quite sad!
