The harbour of Bridlington falls dry during the ebb.

On my 2018 sailing trip, I am travelling around England on the left. From Grimsby, we sail to #Bridlington on the recommendation of the harbour master. The #harbour of Bridlington is not protected from ebb and flow by a lock or gate. It falls dry.

After 3 hours of work on the barnacles, ZERO looks fine for the winter break.

I didn't expect so much #barnacle growth. At least the growth was easy to remove with the #biocide-free antifouling.

You can also see the huge carpets of blue-green algae from the satellite. They tend to form in the Baltic Sea in August, as the Baltic Sea reaches 20 degrees in many places and the nutrient input from agriculture favours the growth of theese algae.
