I attended #EGU25 for the first time. It was an amazing opportunity to meet researchers from all over the world and to connect with many different research communities. I presented a poster and received a lot of constructive feedback and ideas for future work.

The program included lectures on the geophysical principles of echosounding, hands-on training in data acquisition, storage, and visualization using QGIS.

I have just returned from one of my dream experiences: being at sea on a research vessel! I traveled from Bremerhaven to the Canary Islands aboard the icebreaker Polarstern during expedition PS145/1, where I participated in the Echosounding Training Cruise organized by POLMAR.

The outstanding scientific school on Ice Core Analysis and Techniques (ICAT) at the Niels Bohr Institute’s Physics of Ice, Climate, and Earth (PICE) in beautiful Copenhagen has just ended. I am eager to apply the knowledge I’ve gained to my research.
