You score it at the end of your turn and don't need to have control over it at the time.

Also a bit odd for some factions like Tyranids who wouldn't likely use such a thing. But maybe something like an AA gun that the controller gets to control for an aura of potential mortal wounds? Controller allows their allies to bombard the area safely.

Simple rules (scoring moves it. Value based on location) but lends itself to lots of movement.

Balances itself since scoring moves it closer to opponent, therefore making it easier for your opponent to counter further scoring.

I just think it's pretty neat.

Not sure if this is a hot take, a cold take, or a bizarre one, but I do think the game could do with a bit more nuance with objectives.

Unexploded Ordnance is peak primary mission design.

Teams of two. Play against each other but coordinate your lists. Whoever's match is the most entertaining to watch wins.
