Quick post-april check-in: OOPSY finished in between BAT X & Steamer in predicting hitter wOBA, & ahead of both in predicting pitcher ERA (rmse weighted byplaying time for both metrics, w/ each system scaled to assume same avg). Not bad,but I might have to regress bat speed more next year

Tidbit from this piece: a 10 percentage point increase in hard swing rate in 2024 versus 2023 was associated with a 4 point increase in wRC+
