If Im a R in Congress and the Senate I'm terrified.

Some days you’re fine, and some days you’re crying in the spaghetti sauce isle because you don’t know how to ask for what you need to feel loved, and are afraid that you’re not worth-or too much-to be given it.

I didn’t ask for this rush of adrenaline mixed with anxious energy. I sit in my logical brain and grounded emotions and yell at my body for feeling what it feels. Anyone else have a similar annoying experience when it comes to things like this? Not sure if it is my cptsd or anxiety/panic disorders.

I've been writing fiction for 15 years. Published two books during the pandemic.

Now I'm working on something that's been in the works for my entire life. Just crossed the 300 page threshold. 🥂

Fully unrelated to anything else on my page, just a need to vent…but the mix of joy and uncertainness I get when I start to let someone in is very unnerving. Screw whatever is left of my anxious attachment style, it can stay in the past with my cptsd, I don’t need it’s protection.

The unhinged nature of trying to take an attractive selfie to send to someone, but you emotionally switch gears and send your bestie a no neck video instead is * chef’s kiss *. And…chaotic neutral??

The use of Drops of Jupiter in How I Met Your Father feels super icky to me as obvious Millennial bait.

When Millennials are in nursing homes, instead of playing Aretha Franklin’s “Respect”, they’ll be playing Gwen Stefani’s “Hollaback Girl”.

Working in memory care has me constantly thinking about what care facilities will be like when millennials are the ones living in them. Expect random posts with funny thoughts on this.

Does anybody else ever accidentally flirt with their taco guy?? He keeps me in tacos. 😅😂

Chromosomal complement does not infallibly predict these outcomes.

External&internal anatomy&physiology do not infallibly align, much less fall neatly into a binary.

I know these people don't care. But I care abt developmental biology&despise this willful, useless ignorance designed to hurt people

During development, the cells that will give rise to future "small" and "large" reproductive cells can settle in a way that ultimately, the precursors for both will be made.

Some people develop in a way that leads to no production of reproductive cells of any kind, small or large. 3/x

During development, a mix of structures can be retained. Plenty of people born XY walking around w/little fallopian tube remnants.

People don't start producing "small reproductive cells" until they enter puberty.

The large reproductive cell technically isn't produced unless a sperm fuses w/it. 2x

Biology

Conception results in a single cell that does not have gonads or make gametes, obviously.

It's weeks into development before the organs for pelvic anatomy start to be established, &even then, how they'll develop isn't a given. 1/x

It’s times like these that when I was a kid, my parents would talk me into just doing the thing, and I would hold back tears as I forced every cell in my body to do it. …maybe medication would help me?

I see my amazing friends just doing the things that they want to do, and kicking ass at them, and I feel such a mix of pride for them and disappointment in myself. I wish I could focus on one thing long enough to just do it, and do it without fear of f**king it up. #flavorsofneurodivergence

Today I made it to page 8 of a book before I remembered there was something I had wanted to check on my phone. And I even have a fidget toy in my hand to help me focus and everything. #thanksadhd

Today while commenting on a scene in a tv show, I had a funny words are hard moment.

“…rally, rally is the word I meant.”

😂 I crack myself up, I love me. 😂🤣

So, I took the RAADS-R, CAT-Q, SQ-R, RBQ-2A, and the AQ tests at home today off the Embrace Autism website, and I scored above the regular level to indicate possible autism in all of them…
Guess I should go and get tested when I get healthcare!

Do you ever get irritated by something someone does, and it irritates you almost more to actually feel irritated than what they actually did that caused it? That’s how I’ve felt today. I almost never feel that kind of negative emotion, and dang if it isn’t frustrating as heck to feel frustrated.
