When we use powder or gel in our Bosch we get a water tap error message and have to reset it. I do not love this machine!

Is it a Bosch? Our Bosch will
sometimes leave a lingering smell of the soap but not so much the taste. I think this is because it can only use those dw pods which have a powerful smell😩
