It was really interesting to hear how it actually looks to people in English-speaking countries!
What I'm trying to say is, yes, Kurumi-chan is absolutely adorable!!!

For example, I'm a big fan of FMW Kurumi! The team did a great job of localizing her mannerisms in a way that an EN audience can appreciate. (Also she seems somewhat weak, but that complements her character well which makes her even more charming! I want to cheer her on!)

I have been playing it and loving it (slowly, as I've unfortunately been quite busy), and I can confirm the localization is exceptional. It's unfortunately common when playing JP works in EN that jokes and mannerisms lose a lot of impact, but the FMW team did a great job of preserving most of them!

And he is my family.

And finally, from just one ordinary gaming enthusiast who simply loves games from around the world, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the staff who handled the wonderful localization.

And it's not just 2.5 million characters.
This work contains obscure official Touhou Project terminology and religious terms, and even I find myself wondering how on earth you'd translate so many of these words into English.
Moreover, the character limit must have been difficult as well.

This also means that the localization of this title has been exceptionally well executed.
This is truly remarkable.
Because, first of all, the text volume for this title is 2.5 million characters, as discussed in this interview.

Another point is that most of those positive reviews come from (in my view) overseas players.
While this proves that releasing the Steam version allowed this wonderful game to reach players worldwide, it's not just that.

While reading reviews for Fantasy Maiden Wars, I'm surprised by two points.
One is the approval rating.
Currently, out of 271 reviews, 270 are positive.
The remaining one is unclear whether it's a proper Steam review, as it states it doesn't recommend the game due to bugs in the pre-port version.

The reason I love this game was written here—briefly, yet in its entirety.

Though I do have mixed feelings about the fact that the most popular illustration I've drawn is this Utsuho I sketched in about 30 seconds.

As a hobby, I occasionally draw pictures of Touhou characters and use them to create videos explaining the original shoot 'em up games.
Even though my illustrations look like they're drawn by an elementary school student, drawing my favorite characters is still a lot of fun.
