Love it. The use of the same greens for the ambient color tones to make up the orb in the clouds really helps tie the vibe of the piece, the reflection in the orb is (quite literally) peak, and very good job with the sense of massive scale difference.

Imagined them as a sort of protector of rural homes and people too far from big cities to have reliable help. Sort of like how Ivy is a defender of Spanish Harlem in a sense, but for the victims of the dust bowl.

Since they represent rain and storms, I pictured them as a mobility-focused healer/support. Deploying temporary ziplines for team mates in the form of squall lines, healing with supercells, and debuffing areas with dust storms.

#Deadlock got me wanting to play around with 20th century fashion. So I went about designing myself a deadlock hero.

Meet Gabriel Young. A mid-western Rat man who channels the power of Mid-west classics like dust storms, squall lines, and super cells.

No one has any guarantee. Death could simply be nothing. It could be less than void. It could be one of humanity's greatest fears, nothing after death, is true.

Either way, one thing is certain. Life matters, either because it's all we have or because we were put here for a good reason.

This is not an attack on Christianity or other religions. It's a rant about hypocrites and a rant about blatantly evil actions being ignored for convenience. I myself have committed hypocrisy, I cannot lie. But it's about trying to be better.

Christians who only act within their teachings for the promise of an afterlife fail in their teachings. A true servant of God that knew full well they had nothing waiting for them would find the strength for compassion in their love for their fellow living.

I hope dearly there is an afterlife, and I hope every person who has ever looked upon another as not worth compassion is stood there with them in the afterlife, forced to come to terms that they are equals in all but their willingness to care.

It's ok to take breaks from stressful or intense thoughts and rest. But outright ignoring them does not resolve them. And difficult questions of your faith do not stop following you or stand answered when you refuse to consider them.

To allow evil as necessary or a fact of life that can't be changed is cowardly and complaisant or negligent and lazy. To allow evil because it's distant or estranged is willful ignorance and lack of compassion.

First thought. Refusing questions against one's beliefs is not a sign of strong faith. It's a sign of cowardice, weak faith, and willful ignorance in order to refuse the responsibility beyond. No one has a guarantee their teachings are true.We all face death as blindly as the next.

Christian raised spiritual person here. Random Religious thoughts as I go about trying to combat the implications of what's going on in the world. Many such thoughts have been triggered by trying to have discussions with my more heavily Christian family members during this shit show.

Reinventing oneself can be fun, and the freedom to know you can change without it making your previous selves mean nothing is like a breath of fresh air.

The ability to Role Play in a game works with most any game. It can be an unnecessary aspect but a valued aspect to those that want it.
