I end up feeding a few stray raccoons as well, but once winter kicks in here I don’t mind who partakes as long as they don’t make too much of a mess. The raccoons are especially fond of the suet cakes.

Recently watched the 1964 Christmas classic, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer with my grandson and I completely forgot how cruel Santa, the reindeers and even Rudolph's dad were to him for being born different. It has a happy ending only after they discover that he can serve their own purposes.
