I am removing all of my social media apps from my phone with the exception of IG. I use IG to post picks of the daily riverfront construction & my roller skating adventures. I don’t use IG for anything more than to see other roller skaters. IG is really the ONLY social media app I find “healthy”.

While at the Dekalb Oasis to change clothes for the Skate Rave, a woman saw my Ghost shirt and stopped me to ask if I attended the Rosemont ritual. She wasn’t able to attend. I gave her my favorite Rats I made days before the ritual. She was so happy!

Locally (in the US), majority of mom & pop businesses charge an extra fee if you pay by card. Not everyone accepts digital (Apple Pay, etc). I always carry cash because if it.
At least the majority stopped using personal checks. Older folks who don’t trust cards will pay by check or cash.
