This is a photograph of five different paintings of the same pier. They were all painted on the 27th of August 2025 from the hillside that is near this pier. They are all done pretty loosely. The pair has been condemned for a long time. Still remains a focal point in the landscape/ seascape.

'Sans abris' is a much nicer designation than 'homeless'... This person seemed to be right at home on the #MontrealBlueLine #MontréalLigneBleue - it is housing that he is missing. No matter what we call it, homelessness remains a huge problem in Montreal (though not as huge as in the US).

Hands resting on a backpack is the most comfortable posture while riding the #MontrealBlueLine #MontréalLigneBleue and scrolling through a phone screen, or sketching someone who is scrolling through a phone screen.
