It features a militarized Uncle Sam and fear-driven messaging, eerily similar to the kinds of posters used by Nazi Germany to encourage citizens to turn in Jews, immigrants, and other so-called “undesirables.” This isn’t patriotism. It’s historical echo.

After our last report on conditions inside ICE detention centers, the latest DHS propaganda makes a chilling kind of sense now. The official DHS X account posted a WWII-style poster urging people to “REPORT ALL FOREIGN INVADERS,” complete with the ICE tip line to report undocumented neighbors.
