More progress on the war movie sounds mod. Will probably change the ship cannon sounds in the future, but this is alright for now.

A little more progress on the war movie sounds mod for hoi4. Added gunfire sounds for infantry.

Had an idea for a Hearts of Iron IV mod to replace the animation sounds with ones commonly heard in old war movies. Currently only replaces the plane engine sfx.

In the end, the GTA players are lucky: in many other games, issues like this would’ve remained unfixed and they’d become a folk legend. Thankfully, GTAs are moddable and well understood, so we can act upon problems like this and ensure the game stays functional for many more years to come.
