Seeing old 3D demos from the 90s and 2000s makes me grateful that Blender is free and that powerful computers are so easy to get now. The possibilities are really endless 🤯

it really speaks volumes when one CEO can get a 50+million yearly bonus while projects that cost 5-10 million that could employ hundreds of people are deemed "too risky"

i think beyond the huge sums of money being thrown around in tech projects and CEO pay packages being simply too large, to me it's an incredible shame to think that sort of thing is normal when fractions of those amounts could give work and create new projects if they were in different hands.
