the role card will be handed out at the beginning of the game. the bottom left corner of the card explains the role's abilities and objective. in addition, you can choose to vote anyone other than yourself. you cannot change your option after confirming.

the main UI has 3 buttons: opening the chat box, checking your role card, and opening the player list. only one of them can be used at a time. in addition, the theme of your UI will change depending on your role.

the ui doesnt look pretty, yes, but in the video i also showcase some cool things you can do with UI classes in roblox to reduce the amount of work you need to do in programming.

in other words... i spent a week or two making my own chat system. the text filter doesnt work here but im sure it'll filter properly on release. other than that, im glad i have finished the basics of the chat!

i wanted to make my own chat UI, so at first i read the documentations for TextChatService. i then realized how unfit that system was for my game because i need to block messages sent by villagers at night and ghosts for everybody.

in its very core, the game is complete, but there is still a lot to be done, of course. i also added a preview of some more bgms that will play in the game.

the game can now track the number of players alive in each game and end the round when a team runs out of players.

ive made a very basic ui to track the day and night time, as well as finishing up the time module. ive also replaced roblox devs from the previous video with alt accounts from my discord friends (they agreed to let me use them (i mean why not its just alts))
