Today I’ve watched various tv episodes for the 2nd time, with my daughter watching for the 1st time (& my husband for This Is Us). The 1st episode of Dawson’s Creek was definitely of its time… Lessons in Chemistry I loved, but will be continuing by myself. Ted Lasso is great. #FamiliarFebruary #Day1

Watch Winter in Sokcho (2024) on MUBI In the snowy seaside town of Sokcho, 25-year-old Soo-Ha works at a guesthouse. She drifts between her mother’s fish stall and her boyfriend until a French artist’s arrival stirs questions about her id...

They did a lovely job on the movie adpatation of Winter in Sokcho. I liked the book, which is quite delicate, but the movie had a slightly deeper emotional bite for me.

He also wrote the green mile, which also became a film.

I haven't read many but ones I have read are good. You know he wrote the shawshank redemption as a short story? His books with character Holly Gibney are very enjoyable. I enjoyed The Shining too. Quite different to the film.

Read Invisible Monsters by Chuck Palahniuk.

I absolutely loved it, it was a hell of a wild ride. The twists absolutely got me along the way, did not expect any of it. May re-read it again in the future.

Niagara Falls has partially frozen due to extreme low temperatures and heavy snow.

The striking scenes at one of the world's most popular tourist destinations have attracted extra visitors who travelled to the US-Canada border in frigid conditions to witness the spectacle.

My heart sinks with each ambulance called out. Thankfully no broken bones. Thankfully no hospital conveyance. Thankfully care home staff confident in care. Thankfully HCP and us as a family all on same page. But that's taken a lot of doing. Inside knowledge has definitely helped.

It’s all so grubby.

You’d think Mandelson is rich enough to support his own boyfriend’s (now husband’s) study and lifestyle without holding the begging bowl out to Epstein. Same with Andrew & Sarah.

Feeling spookily calm and bit guilty somehow. Dad's GP practice sorted out advanced care plan this week. Care home manager triggered fast track. Mums doing okay, quite tired as been 2 calls to ambulance services in last week for falls. Just bought a CD player/CDs to send direct for mum for Dad.
