This little bit of life seems to be taking a respite from the smoke outside. It has a wingspan of less than my thumbnail.

I took so many screenshots and video captures playing this game I had to buy a terabyte of extra storage.
Talking with friends about relics and I was reminded of this old piece of mine that I think is pretty good, looking at stuff like St Anthony's soft, supple tongue meats and the Buddha's still-growing tooth

To everyone dealing with grief, I want to say I applaud you. It's the most painful thing I've ever had to do, as I'm sure it is for you. To all of you still getting up in the morning and moving forward despite your grief, I wish you strength, peace, friendship, love, and all the joy you can find.
04.08.2025 19:55 โ ๐ 78 ๐ 3 ๐ฌ 2 ๐ 0I remember doing a literature review 45yrs ago on medical "expert systems". Specifically, comparing different AI approaches that made diagnoses based on symptoms and signs. Bayesian vs. fuzzy logic models were state-of-the-art at the time. Just as today, the big issues were verifiability and trust.
