Heard the song Unskinny Bop today which got me thinking about the dumbest song titles ever.

One of the benefits of going to a high school located a block from the beach is my daughter gets to run on the boardwalk as part of rowing practice. She just sent me this photo. Looks cool with the snow.

Yep. Seth MacFarlane is one of the executive producers. I saw the trailer and it looks not great.

They are going to ruin The 'Burbs for me with this new TV series, aren't they.

My wife learned a hard lesson today. Don't buy a jar of pimento olives if you don't want me to crush it in one sitting.

Tonight I introduced the girls to one of the greatest cinematic masterpieces in modern film history.

Encino Man

Both gave it two thumbs up!

Underrated Catherine O'Hara movie - Best in Show.

Going to have to watch that one tonight.

I would get up at 6am, watch cartoons until noon, catch WWF wrestling from noon to 1pm, then go play at the baseball field with my friends until the streetlights came on. It was a great way to live.

It's such a good series. I wanted to reread it to enhance my reading experience of his latest series which takes place in the same world some decades later.

Paranormal Caught on Camera has like 87 seasons and I swear if it's on my TV I will binge-watch every last f-ing episode if you don't physically pull me off the couch.

Rereading Richard Swan's Empire of the Wolf trilogy and man, it's even better the second time around. Honestly it's as close to perfection as you can get.

Highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys really well-written fantasy with great characters and a darkly tinged world/magic system.

Big snowstorm about to hit New Jersey. Maybe I'll use this time confined to the house constructively to start writing that backlog of reviews I seem to have accumulated.

The first 200 pages of The Keep by F. Paul Wilson is maybe the greatest horror novel of all-time. I just don't know what happened with the final 130 pages.

Lately I've been watching my favorite 80's movies with my 14 year-old daughter. Last night was The Lost Boys. Needless to say, it was a hit.

What books would you love to see adapted for the screen?

And would that be a film or a TV show?

Would love to see a TV adaptation of the Divine Cities series by Robert Jackson Bennett.

Are there any psychological horror authors out there anymore? I feel most of the new horror writers are just writing slasher stuff and body horror. Everything I pick up seems to be that style anyway and it's really not for me.
